2000-2001 Season
A record of 3-2-1 is a decent star but we'd all like to make that mark a little higher than .500 and with the Devils schedule it doesnt look too hard. The Devils won their last game against Tampa 7-2. This boosted the devils over.500 once again and carried them to second in their division and fifth in the Eastern Conference.

The Devils have scored a total of 25 goals in 6 games. That is just over 4 goals a game. This should be enough to beat most teams except for one thing. Martin Brodeur is not starting out particularly well. And it pains me to see hi play like this; i think it was against Washington he let by four goals in their first ten shots?!?! I hate this because I am a goalie and I know how this kind of thing feels and her is my idol. All I have to say is "Shape up Marty, We all love you but lets go"
The Devils have let their opponents score a total of 19 goals and Brodeur has played all but one game and Terreir got a win in his only start.
